William R. Hummel

Senior Associate Attorney

William R. Hummel's practice centers on family-based immigration and global (non-U.S.) immigration matters. He also assists the firm’s employment-based immigration practice.  During law school, William interned with the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice. As part of his Joint Degree program he wrote a master’s thesis on the issue of the immigrant rights’ struggle in North Carolina. Prior to becoming an attorney, William worked for two years in the International Studies Program at Davidson College where he facilitated U.S. students' travel abroad and assisted international students.
