William Hummel has been practicing immigration law since 2012 and is one of a limited number of attorneys certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the North Carolina State Bar. Mr. Hummel's represents employers, entrepreneurs, and employees in a variety of industries.  He assists companies and individuals with nonimmigrant work visa options, as well as applications for permanent employment certification for professionals and skilled workers and immigrant visa petitions for individuals of extraordinary ability, outstanding researchers and multinational executives and managers. In addition, he assists clients with global (non-U.S.) immigration matters.  Mr. Hummel also oversees the firm's family-based immigration and citizenship/naturalization practice.
 
During law school, William interned with the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice. Prior to becoming an attorney, William worked for two years in the International Studies Program at Davidson College, assisting  international students and with U.S. students' travel abroad.
