Three Garfinkel Immigration Law Firm attorneys have been named to the Business North Carolina (BNC) 2021 Legal Elite list.
Co-Managing Partner Steven H. Garfinkel, Partner Hannah F. Little and Senior Associate Attorney Catherine Magennis were all recognized in the latest edition of the publication, which is selected based on the recommendations of attorneys in the N.C. State Bar.
Business North Carolina’s Legal Elite list is the only legal honor that provides every active lawyer in the state the opportunity to participate. Business North Carolina has been honoring lawyers with the Legal Elite designation since 2002.
Garfinkel, who founded the Firm in 1997, has been practicing U.S. Immigration Law for more than 35 years. He is one of a limited number of attorneys certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the North Carolina State Bar and is a Past Chair of the Immigration Specialization Committee.
Little is certified as a Specialist in Immigration Law by the North Carolina State Bar, as well. She has also recently been recognized by Who’s Who Legal, the North Carolina Pro Bono Honor Society, and The Best Lawyers in America©. She has also earned a prestigious AV Preeminent Rating®.
Magennis, meanwhile, has successfully represented a broad range of clients in naturalization and citizenship, waiver, adjustment of status (permanent residence/green cards), temporary protected status (TPS), and deferred action for childhood arrival (DACA) cases, amongst others.
